Saskatchewan Government Growth Fund Management Corporation
(SGGFMC) participates in the federal government's Immigrant
Investor Program to acquire relatively low cost capital
for investment in Saskatchewan on commercial terms. A
portion of the capital raised is designated for investment
in small and medium-sized businesses to provide them with
the required capital to grow and prosper, creating jobs,
generating sales revenue and providing long term economic
benefits for Saskatchewan.
In 2000, SGGFMC contracted Crown Capital Partners Inc.
(CCP), a national investment management company, for the
placement and management of immigrant investor funds.
As such, CCP is responsible for the evaluation of potential
investments and management of the investment portfolio.
